At Compass Card Systems, we are committed to protecting your privacy and the confidentiality of the information that you share with us. When you choose to do business with us on the Internet, we will use and protect information that you provide to us in accordance with the following principles and guidelines. When you visit our Internet site, you may provide information that we need in order to address your specific needs and requirements, and to interact with you. If you do not interact with us (e.g., by completing an application, reviewing your account activity or sending us messages), we will not collect personally identifiable information about you.

In order to evaluate and improve our site, we may collect, store and analyze information about your use of our site, including the name of the domain (e.g., aol.com); the date, time and duration of your visit; and the pages you accessed during your visit. To do this, our web server creates a small text file called a “cookie” on your hard drive the first time you visit our site. If you provide us with personally identifiable information, we may keep this information and we may share it with outside companies that work with us to issue Compass Card Systems’ Prepaid Cards and service Card accounts, and you authorize us to do so. For example, all of the information we collect is shared with the bank issuing the Cards. No outside companies that work with us will release this information other than as needed to complete a transaction you request or to service your account, or utilize the information for any promotional activities. We also may obtain other information about you to help us service your account, such as publicly available information and credit reports.

Maintain accurate, current and complete information. If you discover that information we have about you is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, please contact us immediately and we will correct the information as quickly as possible.
Limit our collection, use and retention of personal information to what we consider to be necessary and appropriate in order to conduct our business. Only those employees of Compass Card Systems with a business need to do so will have access to your personal information, and we will educate our employees on the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of such information.
Limit the sharing of information to what is necessary or useful to conduct our business, service your account, and offer products and services that may be of interest to you. To this end, we may share information with unaffiliated companies that work with us to provide products or services to you, as well as those that offer products and services that may be of interest to you. We also may share information in the normal course of business with consumer reporting and government agencies; when we are legally required or permitted to do so; in connection with a fraud investigation or litigation; or with your permission. When we do provide personally identifiable information to third parties, we will provide no more information than we believe is reasonably necessary under the circumstances, and if we do provide personally identifiable information to third parties, we will require that they keep the information confidential in a manner that is consistent with our privacy policy and applicable law. We will not sell or give information about you to any third party with whom we have not established a business relationship for the purposes of providing or offering products and services to you.
Establish appropriate security procedures to guard against unauthorized access to personal information. You can help maintain the confidentiality of personal information you provide to us, as well as information we make available to you about your Card account, by keeping your password secret, changing your password on a regular basis, and remembering to sign off your computer.
